The Prus family sent 29 wine samples to be assessed
During 19 and 21 July, the 36th open national assessment Vino Slovenija took place in Gornja Radgona, which was attended by 223 winemakers from six countries. The winemakers competed with 679 samples of their finest wines, which proved to be the vintage with pronounced aromatics, varietal characteristic and just the right amount of acid content.
As much as two champion titles went to the Prus Wine Cellar from Krmačina. The award went to Traminer wine – dry berry selection, 2006 vintage, in the category of non-aromatic sweet wines, and Riesling – dry berry selection, 2001 vintage, that also won the title of the “Champion of Quality”, which means it has been awarded for three times in a row.
The Prus family submitted 29 wine samples to this year’s wine assessment and received 9 grand golden, 6 golden and 8 silver medals.
